ACTION
Behind the perfectly staged facade of a luxurious villa in a stark Zen style, a naked struggle for survival is brewing.
Frank Locke, in his mid-fifties and an unscrupulous top manager of a real estate company, can only function with the help of a dangerous cockpit of stimulants and tranquilizers.
His wife Martina escapes from chronic loneliness into eccentric role-playing games – and initially appears in a geisha costume.
The marriage is over, mutual respect long since shattered. When Frank discovers that Martina is cheating on him with none other than his old childhood friend Hendrik Bär – a sleazy media charlatan – the thin veneer of civilization completely crumbles.
Spurred on by the cynical observational skills of his young assistant Xenia, Frank decides to make a murderous example.
