ACTION

Accountant Schall is a man with his back against the wall. Trapped in the empty routine of his job, marked by secret escapes and a deep, silent despair, he is merely simulating his life.

But when he enters the darkened room of his boss's daughter, the young, terminally ill Franziska, his utter exhaustion collides with an unpredictable force of nature. Franziska is suffocating in the cold world of her parents' home and harbors a painful hunger for life.

In a merciless game, she makes Schall's despair her prey. She forces him out of his paralysis, provokes and seduces him.

"Die Fledermaus" is a gripping duel between two people who could not be more different – yet both are seeking only one way out of their darkness.

The play "Die Fledermaus" was broadcast as a radio play by Polish radio.
