ACTION
Three widows, who find themselves in a rather boring afternoon of life, finally want to show what they're capable of and plan to apply as a belated "girl group" to the popular casting show "Talent Stands Up".
Since the first rehearsals proved rather disappointing, they hired the former operetta singer Julio Torres.
And indeed – Julio manages to polish their show vocally and choreographically – but through him something also returns to the emotional lives of the three Tigergirls that they had no longer expected:
Love.
But woe betide anyone who disappoints the late awakening of love-hungry souls – that can end fatally.

REVIEWS

The author and director Fred Apke has served the audience a comedy of the highest caliber.
There is no room here for dry jokes or overly long scenes.
Everything unfolds with an amazing sense of humor.
This is not only due to the good script, but also to the wonderful actors.
It is difficult to name one person who stands out the most here, because they have all created sensational characters and each deserves a big round of applause.
Tigergirls is a guarantee for great fun.
Just when you think the funniest part is over, something else happens that brings tears to your eyes.
The show is a real refreshment among comedy shows, both in terms of the comedy and the story itself, which captivates the audience from beginning to end without being clichéd.

“Tigergirls”, a new production by the Korez Theatre, is a comedy full of ingenious gags and linguistic wit.
It is an extremely funny piece about affirming life in every moment.
The play, written and directed by Fred Apke, is on the one hand a reason to be amused, and on the other hand a kind of theatrical pamphlet about marriage fraud, naive women trying to stop time, talent shows, or, one could say, about the whole showbiz that has us firmly in its grip.
But it is also a story about the power of female intuition and female strength in general.
I think it will appeal to viewers of all ages.

However, the information they were confronted with showed that the name Tigergirls perfectly suited them, because they were the ones who had become predators at that moment.
Strong, independent, determined women with the goal of revenge.
In the end, it is they who triumph on stage and deliver an unforgettable performance unlike anything ever seen in a talent show.
Their victory delights everyone, giving the audience the opportunity for an almost concert-like experience.
After all the transgressions, betrayals, and intrigues, the final song is a form of purification, a rejection of all prohibitions, problems, and obligations that restrict us.
It is a form of pure liberation and fun that very quickly spreads to the audience, and it is almost impossible to sit still during this final performance.
Because it awakens emotions that make you want to join in, to clap, simply to enjoy life to the fullest.
As the curtain falls, the applause dies down, and the amused audience slowly leaves the theater, one question arises:
Is this play just a comedy, or does it perhaps have a deeper message?
Because beneath the guise of jokes and funny situations lies a deeper message. It turns out that everyone exploits everyone else in some way, and that money, although a focal point, is not the only tool used for bargaining.
Everyone wants something from everyone else, hiding behind appearances, lies, and an elaborate mask.
No one is without sin; everyone sometimes hides secrets and misdeeds deep in their soul, and everyone wants to make the most of their life.

The clash of three such different temperaments and worldviews leads to many comical situations, which are underscored by witty dialogues.
Despite the constant bickering and sulking, the friends support each other in a crisis situation and unite against a common enemy (Artur Święs).
All the women exude tremendous energy, especially during their final performance at the talent competition, when they discover a strength within themselves they hadn't previously suspected. They also excel at connecting with the audience, particularly when they ask how they can punish the man who tries to take advantage of them.
Although Tigergirls is light and funny, it conveys the important lesson that one should not judge others by their appearance and should follow the principle of limited trust.
