ACTION
A set table. An unexpected guest. An evening that shatters a bourgeois facade. In the forest, a psychological tightrope walk between delusion and truth unfolds.
Hanna longs for an orderly life. She is preparing a perfect dinner for her new boyfriend Rainer, an ambitious and self-confident salesman, with whom she hopes for a conventional new beginning.
But the painstakingly constructed facade begins to crumble when her brother Bernhard suddenly appears in the doorway – soaked to the bone, confused, and having just escaped from the psychiatric clinic. When Rainer finally arrives, the situation escalates.
A tense, intimate drama unfolds at the dinner table, where the fragile facade of bourgeois lives clashes with trauma and unvarnished truths. The longer the evening lasts, the more the boundaries between madness and normality blur, until the question inevitably arises: Who in this room has truly lost their mind?
The piece was broadcast as a radio play by Polish Radio.
